We will start the tour from the Santa Croce district

admiring the facade of the Franciscan basilica of Santa Croce and the square that for centuries has hosted tournaments and sporting events (still today in the month of June, coinciding with the feast of the patron saint John the Baptist, the famous 'Historic Football' is played every year).

Crossing the 'Lungarni' we will reach the picturesque Oltrarno district to get to know its lively squares, the craft activities and the historic buildings of noble Florentine families. Piazza Pitti, with the spectacular and monumental facade of Palazzo Pitti and Piazza Santo Spirito will be fundamental stages of this part of the itinerary.

Once back on the right bank of the Arno we will visit the "religious center" with the splendid Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza della Signoria, where we can admire some of the most famous sculptures of the Renaissance.
